Compensation: $80,000 to $95,000 CAD

What you will do

• Manage building envelope and restoration projects, including curtain walls, roofs, windows, and masonry.
• Prepare engineering design drawings and specifications for the repair of deteriorated structures.
• Conduct condition survey assessments through testing and evaluation of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Lead and manage junior staff and project associates during condition assessments.
• Drive business development, including budgeting, tendering, and proposal preparation in Eastern Ontario, Gatineau, and Montréal.
• Resolve technical problems and interpret engineering specifications to overcome field engineering difficulties.

Requirements

• Must be based in Ottawa, ON (Hybrid)
• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Science or Engineering.
• Valid P.Eng. license and driving license
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in building science within consulting or contracting.
• Working knowledge of Ontario building codes and standards.
• Experience assessing and repairing curtain walls, windows, roof waterproofing, and concrete.

• French oral and writing communication capabilities.
