DSM Evaluation Manager - EM&V

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; hybrid workplace

Salary: $122,000–$192,000 CAD annually, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead and conduct impact evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses of energy efficiency programs.
• Manage projects, scopes of work, budgets, deliverables, and client timelines.
• Manage engineering and analysis staff supporting field work, data collection, energy analyses, and project research.
• Oversee primary and secondary data collection, data analysis, and measurement and verification activities.
• Develop data collection instruments, analysis tools, and calculators.
• Write and review technical reports, actionable recommendations, presentations, papers, and proposals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science with an energy efficiency or energy management focus, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years evaluating energy efficiency programs.
• Experience with energy assessments, energy data analysis, and/or measurement and verification.
• Experience preparing reports with analytical findings and reviewing work products for client delivery.
• Excellent writing, communication, computer, and Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and build relationships with clients while resolving logistical and technical issues.
