DSM Evaluation Manager (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Workplace: Remote

Base salary: $122,000–$192,000 CAD per year, plus potential discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead impact evaluations and cost-effectiveness analyses of energy efficiency programs, including gross and net energy savings estimation.
• Manage evaluation projects, including scopes of work, technical approaches, budgets, schedules, and client deliverables.
• Lead measurement and verification activities using engineering calculations, billing analysis, and regression modeling.
• Coordinate data collection, site visits, metering, energy modeling, technical research, and advanced data analysis.
• Manage and mentor engineering and analytical staff while reviewing reports, findings, conclusions, and program recommendations.
• Support process evaluations, stakeholder interviews, presentations, white papers, and proposals for utility and regulatory clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science focused on energy efficiency or energy management, or a closely related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience, including 4+ years evaluating energy efficiency programs.
• In-depth experience with energy assessments, energy data analysis, and/or measurement and verification.
• Strong understanding of building systems, energy end uses, and equipment, particularly in commercial and industrial sectors.
• Excellent writing, communication, computer, prioritization, and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint.
