What you will do

• Own the end-to-end finance function, ensuring operations are accurate, efficient, and scalable.
• Design and implement financial processes, internal controls, and governance systems.
• Create and manage budgets, forecasts, P&L, and cash flow projections.
• Act as a finance partner to operational leaders, embedding financial analysis into decision-making.
• Manage relationships with banks, payment providers, auditors, tax advisors, and payroll providers.
• Ensure full compliance with local audit, legal, tax, and regulatory requirements across the remit.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a professional accounting qualification and strong post-qualification experience.
• Strong operational finance experience with the ability to build processes and improve controls.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and analytical reporting.
• Must be based in South Africa to support the hybrid work model.
• Experience in high-growth, regulated sectors (Gambling, Fintech, Payments, or Technology).
• Hands-on "startup mindset" with the ability to build from scratch in fast-paced environments.

• Experience supporting new market entry, product launches, or international expansion.
