Location: Remote (Must be based in the Philippines or South Africa)

What you will do

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks.
  • Record daily financial transactions and perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Process and track accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing and payment follow-ups.
  • Prepare financial reports and summaries for management and assist with month-end/year-end closing.
  • Track finances related to inventory and reconcile e-commerce sales and payment transactions.
  • Identify and resolve financial discrepancies and maintain organized digital documentation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with a track record of owning the books.
  • Proven proficiency in QuickBooks (required) and strong skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Comprehensive experience in AP/AR and payment tracking.
  • Exceptional precision and accuracy when working with numbers.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be based in the Philippines or South Africa.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Shopify financial reporting.
  • Experience reconciling digital payment processors such as Shopify Payments, PayPal, or Stripe.
  • Familiarity with inventory-based financial reporting and COGS.
  • Experience working remotely with U.S.-based companies.
