TL;DR

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end management of HS&Q incidents, ensuring accurate capture and compliant reporting under CDM, RIDDOR, and HRB.
  • Coordinate real-time incident response, including triage and early engagement with Legal and Supply Chain Management.
  • Oversee and quality assure complex investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain incident governance and analyze trends to develop targeted prevention programmes.
  • Drive supplier accountability by reviewing performance and embedding consistent safety standards.
  • Champion a corporate culture of openness and early escalation to prevent incidents.

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading serious incident investigations in telecoms, construction, or high-risk operational environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of H&S legislation and industry standards (CDM, RIDDOR, HSG245).
  • Expertise in structured investigation methodologies and complex data analysis.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and hold multi-contractor supply chains accountable.
  • Excellent communication skills to maintain collaborative relationships in fast-paced environments.
