What you will do
- Provide HSE support, guidance, and drive a positive safety culture for the site-based team.
- Develop and implement project-specific HSE plans in conjunction with operational management.
- Conduct frequent site monitoring and auditing to ensure legal compliance with BUK policies.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and ensure the closing of action loops.
- Deliver onsite HSE training, including inductions, safety briefings, and toolbox talks.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and maintain site KPIs and safety control loop scores.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Advisor.
- Expertise in inspection, auditing, and incident management/investigation.
- Strong knowledge of HSE Legislation and CDM Regulations.
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate (Essential).
- NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management (Essential or working towards).
- Significant experience in environmental compliance within construction projects.
Nice to have
- NVQ 5 / NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
- Grad IOSH Status.
- Experience and competence in delivering professional training.
