What you will do

• Prepare and submit import/export customs declarations; review invoices, packing lists, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Classify goods using HS tariff codes and assess proper value for customs duty calculations.
• Support compliance and risk management by ensuring required permits/licenses are in place and by tracking discrepancies to resolution.
• Coordinate customs entries and clearance status in the company system; maintain organized records for audit and reporting.
• Serve as a contact for stakeholders on customs procedures and documentation needs; communicate with carriers, vendors, and customers.
• Identify inefficiencies in customs processes and support improvements to streamline clearance and reduce administrative burden.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in customs coordination, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Basic understanding of trade compliance, customs regulations, and HS tariff codes (required).
• Familiarity with import/export documentation, customs procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail for data entry and document verification; strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic knowledge of customs clearance software and logistics management systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients, vendors, and stakeholders and work independently and in a team.
