What you will do

• Manage end-to-end data pipelines, handling extraction and loading via connectors, APIs, and CSVs.
• Transform data to enable self-service querying and expand business use cases across the organization.
• Champion AI adoption by experimenting with new tools and applying them to real-world business problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop reports that optimize business operations.
• Partner with the Engineering team to implement best practices for technical management of data pipelines.
• Perform ROI analysis on key company initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience with end-to-end management of data pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically Git.
• Experience using team code ownership techniques such as TDD and separation of concerns.
• Excellent communication skills for discussing data-related topics.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Toronto, Montreal, or Halifax offices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Sigma Computing (BI tool).
• Knowledge of Cloud Services (AWS, GCP) and Spark.
• Experience with performance logging and monitoring.
