• Lead team-level technical strategy and execution on multi-quarter time horizons.
• Use AI coding agents to build, optimize, and maintain complex software systems.
• Uplevel engineers across the organization by raising the technical bar through mentorship.
• Collaborate across disciplines to understand the healthcare domain and iterate on projects.
• Implement best practices to protect user privacy and ensure system security.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams with a demonstrated impact on technical strategy.
• Generalist mindset with the ability to learn new languages, frameworks, and techniques quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to build complex systems using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code).
• Familiarity with data security and HIPAA compliance.
• Must be based in the US and able to travel occasionally to the NYC office.
