Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 annually

What you will do

  • Develop and support wafer fabrication processes for MEMS, VCSELs, micro-optics, and PICs.
  • Lead advanced fabrication R&D projects within the on-site cleanroom.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to identify process improvements and reduce scrap.
  • Track process capability and variation throughout the value stream to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support Ni-electroplated microstructure production.
  • Implement and maintain in-process routings, work instructions, and technical specifications.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
  • Experience with photolithography, dry etch, wet etch, metal PVD, and PECVD.
  • Proficiency in metrology techniques including optical microscopy, profiling, and SEM.
  • Knowledge of wafer bonding techniques, substrate constraints, and thermal budgets.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) is required.

Nice to have

  • Experience with MEMS device fabrication.
  • Familiarity with Ni electroplating.
  • Basic understanding of DOE and SPC concepts.
