Staff/Principal ATE Test Engineer (Semiconductors): Leading test development and production test strategy for a high-performance integrated voltage regulator (IVR) semiconductor product line with an accent on mixed-signal and power semiconductor test. Focus on driving test strategy across internal teams and external partners, including silicon bring-up and high-volume manufacturing optimization.

Location: Minimum of 3 days a week in the office in Torrance, CA

What you will do

• Define overall manufacturing test strategy for IVR silicon across wafer probe and package final test.
• Develop production screening methodologies for analog/mixed-signal circuits, ADCs, telemetry, and PMBus/I2C interfaces.
• Lead the development of wafer sort and final test solutions on production ATE platforms, including test programs and load board hardware.
• Partner with Design and DFT teams to ensure robust testability and manufacturability.
• Drive aggressive test time reduction while maintaining production quality targets.
• Support first-silicon bring-up, debug manufacturing test flows, and set production limits.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry with a track record of high-volume product test solutions.
• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Deep expertise in mixed-signal and/or power management IC MFG test development.
• Experience with Advantest, Teradyne, or Cohu ATE platforms.
• Strong understanding of wafer probe, final test flows, yield analysis, and OSAT manufacturing.
• Knowledge of DFT methodologies for mixed-signal SoCs.
