Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer (Engineering)

What you will do

• Lead supplier development, risk assessments, and gap analysis to support new product roadmaps.
• Qualify products using the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to establish stable manufacturing.
• Execute the business unit audit strategy, including domestic and international supplier audits.
• Conduct root cause analysis to develop 8D corrective and preventive action plans.
• Negotiate quality requirements in contractual agreements with suppliers and legal teams.
• Report on QMS performance and improvement needs to top management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or 15 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, procurement, or supplier management.
• Qualified auditor with knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems or equivalent.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.
• Must be located in or able to work from Atlanta, GA or Germantown, TN.
