Location: Must be based in Mossville, IL or Irving, TX. Onsite work required five days a week.

Salary: $159,120 - $238,680

What you will do

• Define and execute the site connectivity strategy to support the Connected Worksite vision.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of connectivity solutions from concept through deployment and scale.
• Lead and nurture a high-performing engineering team focused on industrial IoT and telematics.
• Enable integration between hirify.global assets, third-party equipment, edge systems, and cloud platforms.
• Develop and manage a partner ecosystem to deliver innovative connectivity solutions.
• Ensure solutions perform reliably in remote, harsh, and latency-constrained environments.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mossville, IL or Irving, TX.
• Visa sponsorship is not available.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial connectivity, IoT, telematics, or embedded systems.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in edge computing, connected site architecture, and industrial IoT platforms.
• Experience with private wireless (LTE/5G), satellite, and hybrid networks.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Experience in construction, mining, or heavy equipment industries.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks for connected systems.
