What you will do

  • Own outcomes for a sub-area of the orchestration layer over multiple quarters.
  • Define problems by synthesizing merchant feedback, payment performance data, and platform constraints.
  • Plan and deliver initiatives independently, making trade-offs on scope, quality, and technical debt.
  • Write detailed specifications for routing logic, authentication flows, and provider integrations.
  • Partner with engineering to define and track success metrics like authorization rates and conversion.
  • Represent the product to merchants and stakeholders, translating technical complexity into clear decisions.

Requirements

  • Track record of owning a product sub-area or significant feature set end-to-end.
  • Ability to define problems independently from ambiguous inputs.
  • Strong technical fluency to partner effectively with engineers on integration and processing trade-offs.
  • Structured communication skills to keep cross-functional teams aligned.
  • Must be based in the UK, Hungary, Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Romania, or South Africa.

Nice to have

  • Experience in payments or fintech, particularly in routing, processing, or PSP integration.
  • Comfort with data analysis to define and track outcome metrics.
