What you will do

• Create and maintain CNC programs to manufacture parts meeting engineering blueprints.
• Design work holding fixtures for machining processes.
• Collaborate with machine operators to ensure program accuracy and drawing compliance.
• Recommend and secure necessary tooling for manufacturing operations.
• Perform machining observation studies and support make/buy decision-making.

Requirements

• U.S. Person status required due to NOFORN government contract restrictions.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience programming with CAM systems in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 5 years of experience running and editing mill/turns, lathes, or machining centers.
• Thorough knowledge of CAD/CAM systems and tool path creation.
• Ability to read and understand complex blueprints and engineering requirements.
• Must pass a hair follicle drug test and background check.

Nice to have

• Experience with GibbsCam or Mastercam.
• SolidWorks proficiency.
• Understanding of GD&T.
• Experience running or programming 5-axis machines.
