What you will do

• Perform precision machining and CNC programming using CAM systems.
• Create, repair, and alter complex parts, fixtures, and tooling.
• Plan, fixture, and layout jobs while maintaining tight tolerances (.0001-.0002).
• Inspect and ensure the quality of all work performed.
• Collaborate with Design Draftsmen and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Make independent decisions regarding tooling, set-up, and inspection methods.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience as a diversified machinist.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift (2:15 PM – 10:45 PM).
• Must be able to work onsite in Buffalo, NY.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Must participate in the company’s F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program.
• Proficiency in G & M Codes.

Nice to have

• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous CAD/CAM experience.
