What you will do

• Program, set up, and operate multi-axis CNC machining centers, lathes, and mills.
• Develop and optimize G-code programs to improve production efficiency and accuracy.
• Perform first-piece and in-process quality inspections using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and CMMs.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues, including tool wear and machine malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve production challenges and improve processes.
• Maintain detailed documentation for setups, tooling, and process improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with multi-axis machining.
• 3+ years of CNC programming, setup, and operation including CAD/CAM knowledge.
• Proficiency in reading engineered drawings and using precision measuring devices.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Technical certification or associate degree in machining or manufacturing.
• Extensive experience with 5-axis machining.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience working with aluminum, steel, stainless steel, and plastics.
