TL;DR
New Partnerships Advisor (Fundraising): Supporting the identification, development, and management of new institutional donor partnerships with an accent on non-traditional donors such as Multilateral Development Banks, Gulf donors, and climate funds. Focus on implementing business development strategies, building strategic relationships, and securing high-value funding opportunities through innovative finance mechanisms.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from Oxford, UK (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Identify and engage non-traditional donors including Multilateral Development Banks and climate funds.
- Implement business development strategies to secure high-value funding opportunities.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior-level stakeholders.
- Develop compelling business cases for development and humanitarian projects.
- Collaborate with technical and influencing teams to create coherent value propositions.
- Translate emerging donor trends into actionable strategic opportunities.
Requirements
- Strong experience in donor account management with non-traditional partners.
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to influence and build relationships at senior levels.
- Experience developing business cases in development or humanitarian contexts.
- Ability to work across teams and influence without direct line management authority.
- Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
Nice to have
- Experience with impact investing, blended finance, or public-private partnerships.
- Familiarity with Gulf donors, World Bank processes, or climate financing.
- Additional language skills such as Arabic or French.
