Analytics Engineer (dbt)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design and build data transformations that convert raw platform data into semantic datasets and data products.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical datasets in collaboration with Data Stewards and business users.
• Translate business requirements and content-related questions into technical data products.
• Contribute to the business glossary in Microsoft Purview and document datasets for business users.
• Perform acceptance tests on data deliveries and resolve data quality incidents.
• Participate in agile workflows, including code reviews and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Background as a data analyst, scientist, or engineer with a deep interest in data modeling and software engineering.
• Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and hands-on experience with Python and dbt.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Must be located in Belgium and able to accommodate on-site presence approximately 3 days per week.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interface between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
