What you will do
- Develop manpower models to define required capabilities and staffing levels across enterprise, shared-service, and facility levels.
- Coordinate Joint Table of Distribution (JTD) updates within the Fourth Estate Manpower Tracking System (FMTS).
- Translate mission objectives and operational needs into workforce structures and staffing recommendations.
- Identify skill gaps and define position requirements across various functional levels.
- Optimize staffing based on performance metrics, including workload, cycle time, and productivity.
- Produce manpower deliverables and briefings tailored for senior military and civilian leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in manpower analysis, workforce planning, or organizational analysis.
- Professional experience within a DoD or federal setting.
- Proven ability to build manpower models and recommend staffing levels for changing operating structures.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel for modeling, as well as PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Active Public Trust clearance or ability to be cleared.
Nice to have
- Experience within the Military Health System (MHS) or DHA environment.
- Familiarity with FMTS and the Defense Medical Human Resources System-internet (DMHRS-i).
- Knowledge of UBO operations and cost-recovery programs (TPC, MSA, MAC).
- Knowledge of DoD manpower, personnel, and management engineering policies.
