What you will do

• Lead the web engineering team, managing 1:1s, career growth, and performance.
• Own delivery, including sprint rhythm, roadmap execution, and unblocking engineers.
• Manage operational urgency by handling incidents and escalations.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to define outcomes and evaluate the necessity of features.
• Maintain the coach portal, administration interface, and complex enterprise integrations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in direct people leadership of an engineering team.
• Technical proficiency in React, TypeScript, Node, or similar modern web stacks.
• Ability to challenge architecture decisions and manage technical tradeoffs.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Must be based in Europe.
• Experience with APIs, SSO, or enterprise connections.

Nice to have

• Experience building or growing an engineering team from scratch.
• Background in health, wellness, or B2B SaaS.
• Interest or active use of AI-assisted development workflows.
• Knowledge of team topologies and engineering organizational design.
