TL;DR

Engineering Manager (AI): Leading a team of software engineers to build AI-enabled products and platform capabilities with an accent on scalable architecture and AI-assisted development workflows. Focus on integrating LLMs, RAG systems, and agentic workflows into production-ready full-stack applications.

Location: Remote (Work from anywhere), must be performed outside of Ontario

What you will do

Lead a team of senior software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Partner with Product, Design, and Operations to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Design and review scalable architectures, breaking complex initiatives into actionable technical plans.
Drive the adoption of AI-assisted and agentic development workflows to improve productivity and delivery speed.
Build modern full-stack applications using Next.js, TypeScript, React, Supabase/Postgres, and cloud services.
Improve software delivery practices, including CI/CD, testing, observability, and operational excellence.

Requirements

8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
Previous experience leading engineering teams and mentoring developers.
Hands-on experience integrating LLMs, AI agents, RAG systems, or AI-powered workflows into products.
Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
Experience designing scalable APIs, distributed systems, and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
Experience with CI/CD automation, monitoring, and production operations.
