TL;DR

Location: Must reside in the U.S. (Remote)

Salary: $195,000 - $240,000

What you will do

  • Manage and coach up to 5 engineers in their career growth and technical improvement.
  • Contribute hands-on code (up to 50%) in an agile environment using TDD and pair programming.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to shape the application and business goals.
  • Design and deploy AI features to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability and availability.

Requirements

  • Must reside in the U.S.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without employer visa sponsorship.
  • Professional experience with Ruby on Rails or other open-source programming languages.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience delivering software in a production environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of management experience.

Nice to have

  • Professional experience with React or TypeScript.
  • Exposure to healthcare standards like FHIR, HL7, or integration with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner).
  • Experience building rules engines, decision trees, or dynamic workflow automation.
  • Background as a technical lead working with UX/UI design and product management.
