Commercial Manager (Construction)

Location: Must be based in or able to travel across Canada with flexibility for a 6:1 rotation away from home.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor commercial teams on large-scale construction projects.
• Take full responsibility for project commercial performance and management account preparation.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies and lead contractual negotiations.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with contract requirements.
• Manage procurement for large value contracts and handle claims preparation and dispute resolution.
• Assist in business development activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of major infrastructure experience.
• Must have a strong interest in working in Canada.
• BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of main standard forms of contract including NEC and JCT.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a client-facing environment.
• Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
• 2:1 degree classification or higher.
