What you will do

• Oversee daily IT infrastructure operations, including servers, storage, backup, network, and M365.
• Lead the strategic planning and implementation of cloud platforms and data centers to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Manage service delivery and SLA compliance, driving continuous operational efficiency and root cause analysis.
• Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for hardware/software procurement and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce infrastructure policies and lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Requirements

• 15+ years of IT industry experience, with at least 10 years in technical delivery or consulting.
• Proven track record as an Azure Cloud Architect and experience leading large-scale migrations (1000+ VMs).
• Expertise in Microsoft solutions (Active Directory, Exchange, WSUS, DNS, DHCP) and Azure AD.
• Hands-on experience with Containerization (K8S, AKS, EKS) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM).
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), virtualization (VMware), and networking.
• Must be based in or able to work from Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Certifications: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or AWS Solution Architect Professional.
• TOGAF 9, ITIL V3, or CKA certifications.
• Expertise in replication technologies (Nutanix, EMC, Veeam) and Fibre channel/Storage Networking.
