TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (AI/Fullstack): Building AI-powered learning experiences and rich-text editing tools for educators and students with an accent on LLM-driven services and rubric-aligned feedback systems. Focus on designing AI-native development workflows, solving complex full-stack architectural challenges, and implementing agentic tooling to scale engineering productivity.

Location: Remote, must be based in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, or Costa Rica

What you will do

  • Ship full-stack features for AI-powered writing tools, including assignment creation and rich-text editors.
  • Develop and optimize LLM-driven services and rubric models for real-time student feedback.
  • Provide substantive code reviews and architectural feedback to maintain high technical standards.
  • Serve as a first responder for production issues, handling triage, root cause analysis, and prevention.
  • Enhance engineering practices by building agentic workflows, tooling, and technical documentation.
  • Translate product requirements into technical approaches and communicate reasoning to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building production web applications.
  • Strong full-stack range with modern React/TypeScript frontends and a typed or Pythonic backend.
  • Must be based in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, or Costa Rica.
  • Active daily use of AI coding agents (Claude Code or similar) with deep understanding of their failure modes.
  • Experience with production debugging across the stack using traces, logs, and profiling.
  • Strong asynchronous written communication skills for PRs, specs, and Slack.

Nice to have

  • Experience building agentic developer tooling, such as MCP servers, custom agents, or eval harnesses.
  • Background in rich text editing, document collaboration, or LLM-backed product features.
