Salary: $140,000 - $175,000

What you will do

• Design OTA update and configuration procedures for embedded systems.
• Develop automated management processes for first- and third-party embedded devices, including RF subsystems, lasers, and cameras.
• Consult with security teams to design security primitives specific to on-prem hardware and embedded devices.
• Build and optimize monitoring, alerting, and performance metrics systems for development and production environments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment efficiency.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience maintaining large scale distributed systems.
• Experience with Yocto Linux, compiling Linux distributions, kernel modules, and device drivers.
• Proficiency with virtualization and containerization management (Proxmox VE, Docker, Podman).
• Familiarity with high-performance embedded form factors (MicroTCA, VPX, ATCA, CompactPCI Serial, PXIe).
• Skilled in architecting infrastructure workflows using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or Kubernetes.
