TL;DR

Technical Operations Administrator (Defense): Coordinating technology integration, testing, and deployment for military and maritime programs with an accent on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) management. Focus on optimizing resource allocation, managing critical paths for complex hardware/software integrations, and ensuring event readiness for customer demonstrations.

Location: Must be based in West Palm Beach, FL. Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence is required for ITAR/EAR compliance.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain the program-level Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for all technology integration and deployment activities.
  • Decompose milestones into detailed tasks and manage critical path visibility across all active workstreams.
  • Coordinate staffing plans and resource allocation for integration windows and military exercises.
  • Manage third-party technology integrations and hold external partners accountable to timelines.
  • Plan and execute customer demonstrations, including event-specific timelines and readiness checklists.
  • Oversee logistics for equipment movement, personnel travel, and vessel readiness.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in program scheduling, project coordination, or operations administration.
  • Proven expertise in building Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using MS Project or Smartsheet.
  • Working knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) and schedule risk analysis.
  • Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residence due to ITAR/EAR restrictions.
  • Ability to navigate industrial facilities and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting engineering, technology, defense, maritime, aerospace, or robotics organizations.
  • Familiarity with DoD acquisition program scheduling and IMS/IMP documentation standards.
  • Experience with Monte Carlo simulation for schedule confidence analysis.
