Senior Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Lead complex product transfers and industrialization programs into contract manufacturing factories, including multi-site and global initiatives.
• Review BOMs, drawings, specifications, and test methods, define transfer strategies, and mitigate technical, supply chain, and manufacturing risks.
• Define manufacturing architecture, line design, capacity plans, equipment, automation, tooling, and test strategies.
• Develop scalable manufacturing processes and lead process validation, pilot builds, engineering runs, and production readiness.
• Own production ramp performance, including yield, throughput, cost, issue resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Drive DFM/DFA improvements, continuous improvement, engineering changes, re-transfers, second sourcing, and capacity expansion.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering.
• 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with product transfer, industrialization, and factory setup.
• Experience managing multiple complex programs and working with global manufacturing and site transfers.
• Knowledge of process validation, including IQ/OQ/PQ and capability studies, as well as PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC, and GR&R.
• Experience with tooling, test systems, production scaling, ERP/MRP, and PLM systems.
• Strong cross-functional communication, problem-solving, ownership, execution, mentorship, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Background in contract manufacturing, EMS, or CDMO environments.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
