Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite at Bayan Lepas PN2

Develops and manufactures storage systems and infrastructure for AI-driven data centers, cloud platforms, and enterprise environments.

What you will do

• Oversee scheduled preventive maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
• Manage equipment form-factor conversions, setup, and buyoff.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
• Install new equipment and propagate setup procedures.
• Troubleshoot major equipment issues and support spare-parts purchasing and inventory.
• Train employees on new SOPs, human behavior, and machine operation while following OSHA safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
• Proficiency in at least one industrial programming language: PLC, CTC, C++, or Python.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and workplace health regulations.
• Good command of English.
• Strong control-system knowledge.
• Full-time availability for the onsite Bayan Lepas, Malaysia work location.

Nice to have

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in equipment engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
• Experience planning and executing equipment preventive maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Industrial automation or PLC programming certification.
• CAD skills, Python or C++ programming, and familiarity with AI infrastructure such as LLMs, machine learning, or agentic AI.
