Salary: $200,000 – $295,000 CAD

What you will do

• Expand the Events Analytics Platform's ability to deliver data with world-class speed and reliability.
• Architect and automate services and systems to scale reliably under growing demand.
• Make architectural trade-offs balancing product requirements with engineering constraints.
• Maintain and grow code quality initiatives through regular reviews and design contributions.
• Lead design discussions and define deliverables for the infrastructure team.
• Improve the maintainability and developer experience of owned codebases.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in backend or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong knowledge of replicated and/or distributed data storage systems.
• Proficiency in Python or a comparable language.
• Experience with disk-driven storage systems like PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
• Experience with memory-driven storage (Memcached, Redis) and streaming platforms (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Must be located in the Toronto area or willing to relocate.
