What you will do
- Build and manage the end-to-end events program, including sponsored events, owned roundtables, and industry conferences.
- Develop the annual events strategy, defining target events and success metrics.
- Coordinate pre-event outreach and targeting with the sales team to attract senior buyers.
- Design and oversee the on-site and post-event experience to drive pipeline progression.
- Create the content suite for events, including briefs, leave-behinds, and follow-up sequences.
- Manage event budgets, vendor relationships, and logistics while building scalable playbooks.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in event or field marketing, preferably in B2B with enterprise or financial services buyers.
- Proven track record of owning an entire events program from strategy to execution.
- Strong strategic ability to justify event selection and align them with business goals.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for credible representation in front of senior buyers.
- Must be based in San Francisco for on-site work.
Nice to have
- Experience in insurance, fintech, or enterprise sales.
- Proficiency in using LinkedIn for pre- and post-event amplification.
- Experience building hosted dinner or roundtable programs from scratch.
