What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable systems using Node 20 LTS, Next.js, and React.
• Develop and optimize SQL database schemas and write complex queries using ORMs like Prisma or TypeORM.
• Create well-documented RESTful APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and conduct comprehensive code reviews.
• Deploy and manage applications on the Azure cloud platform and implement CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and .NET core developers to deliver integrated software solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional software development experience with a heavy focus on Node.js and backend systems.
• Deep proficiency in Node 20 LTS, Express.js, Fastify, or NestJS.
• Advanced SQL skills with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services (App Service, Functions, SQL Database, Blob Storage).
• Experience with Docker and containerization (AKS or Azure Container Instances).
• Must be based in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area and have a dedicated, private work area.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare software development.
• Familiarity with GraphQL or tRPC.
• Experience with Redis for caching and BullMQ for job queue management.
