TL;DR

Salary: $150,000 – $230,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Develop backend APIs and AI flows to help product and research teams analyze user experiences at scale.
• Own well-defined product features end-to-end, from design and implementation to monitoring and iteration.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to review designs, debug complex issues, and improve technical judgment.
• Contribute across the full stack to support product surfaces that deliver AI analyses and insights.
• Write reliable, testable code, improve observability, and document designs for team scalability.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional experience building and shipping production software.
• Must be based in or able to work from the San Francisco office (Hybrid).
• Proficiency in TypeScript or a strong willingness to switch to it.
• Solid understanding of data structures, RESTful APIs, SQL, and testing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to contribute to design discussions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, Temporal, AWS, or PostgreSQL.
• Interest in distributed AI workflows, inference systems, and prompt/context engineering.
