What you will do

• Design and architect scalable, robust, and high-performance Node-based applications.
• Lead the architecture for all components within the investment segment to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate stakeholder requirements into actionable technical backlog items.
• Write detailed technical user epics and stories with clear user acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate with architects to implement technical decisions and identify opportunities for automation.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers to maintain high software quality and performance.

Requirements

• 8-10+ years of industry experience in data engineering and product management.
• Expertise in Node.js for backend development (Java expertise is also valued).
• Proven track record of designing and developing complex data or software products.
• Proficiency with MongoDB Atlas and developing/consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and microservices architecture is mandatory.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with frontend scripting languages such as React.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Redis, or Datadog.
• Working knowledge of data ETL processes.
• Experience building agentic workflows, RAG patterns, or using vector databases.
• Familiarity with AI observability frameworks like LangSmith or Weights & Biases.
