What you will do

• Design scalable, maintainable, and secure service architectures for the platform.
• Build backend services using C# in a Functional Programming paradigm or TypeScript for web and background workers.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Act as a technical mentor to junior engineers, elevating team skills and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver platform solutions.
• Optimize system performance, security, and scalability across SQL and NoSQL databases.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of progressive software engineering experience, including leadership roles.
• Proficiency in typed, functional programming using C# or TypeScript.
• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, with a strong preference for PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including Git and CI/CD.
• Must be based in or able to work from Boston, MA; Vancouver, BC; or Vancouver, WA.
