Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/DevSecOps): Designing and maintaining a DevSecOps toolchain for the Salesforce-based MESH platform and AWS infrastructure with an accent on CI/CD automation, infrastructure-as-code, and FedRAMP compliance. Focus on automating cloud operations, implementing observability, and integrating security gates into pipelines.

Location: Remote (Must be based in the US, pass public trust clearance, and operate within the Eastern time zone)

Salary: $106,300 - $171,400

What you will do

  • Design and maintain the DevSecOps toolchain for the MESH platform across AWS and Microsoft 365.
  • Build and operate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Copado for Salesforce and AWS components.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure via Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible in alignment with FedRAMP baselines.
  • Implement observability and monitoring using Splunk, AWS CloudWatch, New Relic, or Dynatrace.
  • Automate operational tasks (provisioning, patching, access management) using Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
  • Integrate security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA) into pipelines and remediate vulnerabilities.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or pass public trust clearance (requires living in the US for 3 of the previous 5 years).
  • Must be able to work 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time.
  • 8+ years of DevSecOps experience with AWS, GitHub Actions, Splunk, and New Relic.
  • Expert knowledge of AWS services (server and serverless), S3 access management, and application configuration.
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, Python, Jenkins, and Git.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

  • AWS DevOps Engineer Professional or AWS Solutions Architect Professional certifications.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tooling, specifically Copado.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and service mesh.
  • Prior experience with Federal Government contracting (CMS, MACBIS, or HHS).
