What you will do

• Execute end-to-end VMware datacenter migrations using AWS MGN, CloudEndure, and HCX.
• Perform comprehensive workload assessments, dependency mapping, and application discovery.
• Build AWS landing zones and hybrid connectivity solutions following Well-Architected Framework principles.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform and CloudFormation to replicate infrastructure patterns.
• Create Python and PowerShell automation scripts for mass VM migration and validation.
• Provide technical guidance to client teams and lead migration workshops and cutover planning.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• 8-10+ years of IT implementation or cloud engineering experience.
• 5+ years of VMware infrastructure experience (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX).
• 5-6+ years developing AWS cloud infrastructure.
• 3+ years hands-on VMware to AWS migration experience using MGN, CloudEndure, or HCX.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) and VCP-DCV certification.
• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
• Flexibility to work EST hours with availability for after-hours maintenance windows.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Security, or DevOps Professional certifications.
• HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification.
• Experience with SAP on AWS migrations or Kubernetes containerization (EKS).
• Multi-cloud experience (Azure, GCP).
