What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain automation, tooling, pipelines, and cloud infrastructure for software delivery.
- Optimise CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, deployment, and environment provisioning processes.
- Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation).
- Build and maintain containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, supporting platforms like AKS, EKS, or GKE.
- Implement and support logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting (Datadog, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor).
- Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency, container scanning) and manage secrets securely.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and/or AWS.
- Experience using Infrastructure as Code, with Ansible preferred.
- Experience with either Docker or Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and Linux/Windows systems.
Nice to have
- Experience with service mesh technologies, API gateways, or ingress controllers.
- Background working in regulated or enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of SRE principles such as error budgets and capacity planning.
- Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimisation.
- Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications.
