What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automation, tooling, pipelines, and cloud infrastructure for software delivery.
• Optimise CI/CD pipelines and automate build, test, deployment, and environment provisioning processes.
• Design, deploy, and operate cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation).
• Build and maintain containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes, supporting platforms like AKS, EKS, or GKE.
• Implement and support logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting (Datadog, Dynatrace, Azure Monitor).
• Integrate security scanning into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, dependency, container scanning) and manage secrets securely.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code, with Ansible preferred.
• Experience with either Docker or Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and Linux/Windows systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh technologies, API gateways, or ingress controllers.
• Background working in regulated or enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of SRE principles such as error budgets and capacity planning.
• Experience with FinOps or cloud cost optimisation.
• Relevant cloud or DevOps certifications.
