Salary: $200k – $230k

What you will do
- Lead US accounting operations and consolidation to deliver accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Redesign accounting infrastructure and standardize processes to support IPO readiness and future growth.
- Implement and maintain a robust system of internal controls to meet SEC and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and mentor a team of accountants while contributing as an individual operator.
- Drive an automation mindset by integrating AI to shift manual tasks toward high-judgment review and analysis.
- Act as a primary financial liaison for external auditors, regulators, and investors.
Requirements
- Financial services background is required (specifically fintech or consumer credit).
- 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, including leadership roles.
- Expert-level proficiency (power user) in NetSuite configuration and optimization.
- Experience rebuilding or standing up accounting operations for companies scaling toward an IPO.
- Must be based in the United States.

- Familiarity with SQL for reading queries and collaborating with data and FP&A teams.
