What you will do

• Influence system and board level architecture for large-scale, multi-board hardware systems.
• Lead end-to-end hardware development from initial concept through design, test, manufacture, and customer release.
• Design complex high-speed digital, analog, power, FPGA, and ASIC-based systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to peers and junior engineers.
• Perform root cause analysis and act as a technical escalation point for mission-critical applications.
• Develop scalable, high-quality production hardware solutions through collaborative processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in hardware, board design, and architecture.
• Expert knowledge of high-speed interconnects (DDR, PCIe, USB, SerDes) and PCB design techniques including SI and PI.
• Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional design efforts and mentor internal engineering teams.
• Strong communication skills for working with geographically dispersed multifunctional teams.
• Must be based in San Jose, CA, US.
