What you will do

• Administer prescribed oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous medications and document patient responses.
• Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories for adult psychiatric, medical, and geriatric patients.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Perform wound care and provide assistance during minor surgical procedures.
• Educate patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse from any US State, DC, Puerto Rico, or US territory.
• Successful completion of the NCLEX-PN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• At least two years of experience in a primary care setting, including work within the last six months.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.
• Ability to pass VA Public Trust Clearance and South Carolina criminal background check.
