What you will do

• Develop process models, mass balance calculations, P&IDs, and design criteria for wastewater projects.
• Apply expertise in biological nutrient removal, MBR, and fixed-film processes to complex engineering problems.
• Perform research and evaluate treatment process performance via bench, pilot, and full-scale testing.
• Create life cycle assessments and environmental/social benefit analyses for resilient solutions.
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to identify interests and develop creative technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and maintain department engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Chemical).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in wastewater treatment process design.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship not available).
• Experience with process simulators like BioWin, GPS-X, Sumo, or Simba.
• Professional registration or licensure (PE) or be in active pursuit of it.

Nice to have

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
