Compensation Compliance Director (Fintech)

Compensation Compliance Director (Fintech): Leading the rollout, administration, and compliance of complementary compensation plans with an accent on regulatory frameworks and equity. Focus on ensuring adherence to SEC laws, managing crypto-based compensation, and coordinating with Legal and Finance teams.

Location: Remote, but ideally based in Sherman Oaks, CA; candidates must be able and willing to travel to the office on a regular basis

Salary: $178,000 - $220,000 a year

What you will do

• Lead and oversee the rollout, administration, and ongoing compliance of hirify.global’s Complementary Compensation Plan.
• Ensure all compensation programs comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and communication of compensation plans.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Executive teams to align strategies and mitigate compliance risks.
• Monitor changes in regulations and proactively update policies and practices.
• Conduct audits and prepare reports to demonstrate compliance with internal and external requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law or related field.
• 8+ years of direct experience in a compensation, compliance, or legal position.
• Demonstrated experience with IPO, crypto compensation plans, ESPPs, and/or equity compensation plans.
• Deep knowledge of SEC laws, regulations, and best practices for compensation compliance.
• Strong knowledge in crypto and tokens.
• Must be located in the US or be able to travel to the Sherman Oaks office on a regular basis

• Advanced degree or professional certification such as CEP or JD.
