What you will do

• Design and execute a comprehensive end-to-end procurement strategy, including vendor selection and contracting.
• Lead the procurement technology strategy and implement a modern procure-to-pay stack (e.g., Coupa, Zip, Ironclad).
• Lead vendor negotiations to optimize commercial terms, mitigate risk, and improve service quality.
• Establish data-driven spend analytics, category management reporting, and savings tracking.
• Build a vendor risk management framework specifically addressing HIPAA/BAA compliance for healthcare.
• Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure SOX compliance and internal controls over spend.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in high-growth organizations.
• Proven track record of building or scaling procurement processes and vendor management frameworks.
• Experience evaluating and implementing procurement systems (e.g., Coupa, Zip, Ironclad, Ramp).
• Authorized to work in the United States (E-Verify/Form I-9).
• Experience building and leading a procurement team.
• Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with vendor compliance in a HIPAA-regulated or healthcare environment (BAA management, security assessments).
