What you will do

• Support the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of large Hadoop and Cloud clusters.
• Develop and maintain next-generation cyber and AI/ML capabilities hosted on AWS infrastructure.
• Manage and monitor large distributed systems exceeding 1000 nodes.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot large-scale cloud computing systems and distributed databases like Cassandra and Accumulo.
• Automate system configurations using tools such as Puppet and SALT.
• Educate and train junior technical resources on complex infrastructure tasks.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
• At least 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure or system administration.
• Expertise in Linux fundamentals and scripting using Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Possession of one of the following: AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, CDP Administrator - Private Cloud Base, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
• Experience with distributed storage and retrieval systems (e.g., Apache Hadoop, Scality, or Swift).

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Docker images.
• Familiarity with log aggregation and search tools like Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Grafana.
• Knowledge of low-level network concepts including VLANs and port channel bonding.
• Experience with software load balancers such as HAProxy and NGINX.
