TL;DR
Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Maintaining and evolving Telesign’s information security management and privacy systems with an accent on ISO 27001, ISO 27701, SOC 2, and HIPAA compliance. Focus on designing SIEM correlation rules, assessing security risks, coordinating audits, and leading incident response and remediation activities.
Location: Hybrid, with the option to work remotely and from abroad for up to 10 days per year.

What you will do
- Maintain the ISMS and PIMS in alignment with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2025.
- Support compliance with SOC 2 and HIPAA requirements.
- Manage the security project roadmap and integrate security initiatives into services and infrastructure.
- Lead information classification, data protection, risk assessment, role-based access, and SIEM correlation rule development.
- Review existing and proposed security changes and collaborate with operations, engineering, and client services to protect 24/7 services.
- Coordinate security audits, customer questionnaires, awareness training, third-party security providers, and incident response activities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in an enterprise information security role.
- Experience implementing, supporting, or auditing ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2025 compliance.
- Experience with SOC 2 and HIPAA.
- Strong problem-solving, root-cause analysis, remediation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently solve simple to moderately complex problems and manage a diversified workload.
- Native English or excellent English proficiency, especially oral communication, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
