Senior Product Owner (Education): Acting as a bridge between product development, business stakeholders, and clients to align business needs with departmental strategy with an accent on backlog grooming, user story development, and product vision. Focus on managing complex enterprise-wide problems, utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies, and mentoring other Product Owners.

Location: Onsite at Tampa Campus, FL. Must have current work authorization in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).

What you will do

• Act as a bridge between product development, business stakeholders, and clients to align needs with strategy.
• Develop and adapt product vision, write user stories, prioritize the backlog, and lead release planning.
• Provide strategic consultation on risks, costs, and impacts on end-user products and business processes.
• Lead complex, high-visibility tasks using MoSCoW, Story Mapping, and Kano Analysis.
• Write and approve acceptance criteria and validate prototypes.
• Mentor and guide other Product Owners to improve their project management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or IT (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or working in a Scrum environment.
• Current work authorization in the United States is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
• Experience using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Certified Product Owner or SAFe Product Owner certification.
