What you will do

• Investigate and reconstruct passenger and commercial vehicle collisions, including incidents involving pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorcyclists.
• Perform vehicle and site inspections utilizing advanced 3D scanning technology and data collection software.
• Analyze Event Data Recorder (EDR) and Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) downloads.
• Prepare clear, well-supported technical reports communicating scientific findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in depositions and trials, providing expert testimony to support reconstruction findings.
• Develop technical papers and presentations for clients and professional conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an Engineering discipline or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record standards for frequent travel.
• Willingness to travel for inspections, including overnight stays.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and legal testimony.

Nice to have

• ACTAR certification.
• Prior experience in accident reconstruction or forensic investigations.
• Hands-on mechanical or automotive experience.
• Proficiency with software such as SCENE, PC-Crash, Virtual CRASH, HVE, AutoCAD, or PhotoModeler.
• Knowledge of vehicle electronics and ADAS.
